One our way to Dunedin we stopped off at Moeraki to see one of the most famous geological attractions on the east coast of the South Island: The Moeraki Boulders.
These 60 million year old stones are definitely worth visiting. Just a 10 minute walk down the beach from the road and you'll be clambering all over these enormous, partially buried stone spheres.
It's funny, but even the well-known destinations in New Zealand never seem to be all that crowded.
