We've seen dolphins before, but never this close up and never this many. There were hundreds of them, and they seemed to be performing for us, doing all sorts of flips and jumps, even full backflips out of the water.
They are gregarious, even moving from one nearby tour boat over to ours, as if they were making sure to entertain all of the humans.
We were told that it's quite rare to see Dusky Dolphins at this time of year. What a blessing and a gift it was to have this lucky experience.
