The Acclimation Drive

There are very few things more stressful than riding on the wrong side of the road in a car driven by your spouse.

Thankfully, then, our first driving day involved a short road trip from Christchurch to Hamner Springs. It was about 100km but seemed much longer, since it was the second time for either of us driving on the left.

This beautiful drive was a great taste of what was to come in the coming days of driving.

Yes - I remember trying to drive on the wrong wide of the road for a few weeks with mixed success. Dan - you'll feel awesome once it becomes second nature. I found walking on city streets MUCH scarier.

LOL Mike! Yep, that's about how it went. I'll keep you posted on how we adjust. It got a lot easier on days 2 and 3.
